About My Country

This is a fact that the term of "human ideas"always change. It is fairly to say that it is like the river. It is getting change all the time. However, I do believe that every country in this modern world are changing their ideas. Especially for the political itself. In the past time, the communism countries are very strong in controlling their people. But right now they seem getting change their ideas. This because the people are getting smarter, so the leader has to adjust their policy according to the condition of the modern society. For example, China, it used to be a strong communism country in Asia, but now it has became mixture( half communist and half democracy). On the other hand, the people are becoming on more greedy and ambitious man. They need more and more freedom of living, freedom of speech and freedom as human being.
In Cambodia the people seem to be more quiet. The majority of the people still live in fear because its Killing Fields history. The people are very scare whenever they hear the
word "politic". I asked them what the matter with that word? We have mouth, we have mind and we all care about our future. The future of our country and our next generation. You what they replied back to me? : If you want to have a long life just keep your mouth shut up. You must pretend to be deaf and dump". That's a very very good answer I ever heard. You know what is going on in Cambodia? The people just care about their own stomach. Sorry I mean they don't want to hear anything about what is going on with Cambodia right now. They would ask you the place where they can get a lot of money to feed their lives. You may not know what will happen to the patriot? Let me whisper you because I afraid someone may hear us and I will get kill. THEY WILL DIED AS ANIMAL. In Cambodia, everyone they know how was their leader? and who is the back-government. But they just keep it in their mind. They live with suffering. Even the freedom of speech they don't have.

Many graduated students don't have a job. Because the quality of their education can't compare with the job. In fact, when I were in high school I have to pay a lot of money for school. We have to take an extra class other why we will not pass the subject, and the teacher didn't focus much for the normal class. Let me tell you my experience when I were in grade 9. We have almost 30 or more than that in our class. All of my friends take an extra class except me. Because I don't have eough money to pay for those classes. Especially that would be easy for them to take the exame.
When I told you like that it does not mean the teacher is bad. No and No they have no choice. Because they got a very low salary. As the present day everything are rapidly increasing the price. Therefore, it is not enough for them to pay for their daily life. Most of them have to take a part time work to get a bit more money. When I were young I thought that's just a normal in our country. Because our country just free from the civil war. So we don't talk about it any more. Anyway, it is useless to talk about it. There is none take a serious responsible for this problem.
Anytime, when the case was submitted to the government office it just disappear. So we have no hope to fight for that. If we say about the government for not being responsible for this then it will turn to be that we are getting involved with the political. You know who was the first Prim minister of Cambodia after the Khmer Rouge period? Mr. Paen Sovan was. And you know why they put him in the Vietnam prison for 10s years? Because he does not agree with the three requests of Vietnamese. He knew well about that if he agreed with them then there would be a huge destruction of national natural resources, many people being kill, and also Cambodia will face a big problem for illegal immagration of Vietnamese come to live in Cambodia. So Mr. Hun Sen and Mr.Say Phu Thong are not satisfy with that, because they like Vietnamese.(as I read in the book which told by Mr.Paen Sovan). The way I have said is not mean I have a bias on him. You will believe me or not just check it out.

To tell you the truth, I can see Vietnamese are living every where in Cambodia. The first time they enter Cambodia just a normal worker they are very poor, but in the next 3 to 5 years they can buy a new house and becoming rich day by day. Thousand and thousand of Cambodian fled to work in the second countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, and Korea.........etc. They went there in the hope that they will get better life there. But things are going according to their plan. Some of them being a slave. Many girl have became a prostitute girl, and sometimes lost their lives. I really do not understand why Vietnamese work here in Khmer and they become a rich man, and why not Cambodian, because it is our own country why not. Many people are crying for job and the increasing of the salary. But the government was given the land concession to the foreign companies. Hundred of families lost their lands and becoming homeless(see in Dey Kro hom, Boeng Kok phnom penh, Kompong Speour province). You know there was a terrible event when
the polices evict the people from their own land. It is like the animal. They destroy the people's houses.

On 2010 and now 2011 Cambodia has been facing a lot of problems, the border(Cambodia-Thailand, Cambodia-Vietnam). The country is facing the economic crisis because we have to pay a lot of money on army. For the border between Cambodia and Vietnam many of local people are not satisfy with the Vietnamese government. They said the Vietnamese was taking over Cambodia land, the line of map which they made was wrong. The people who are living a long the border lost a lot of land on this case. They requested to Mr. Hun Sen to reconsider about this problem. On the day that the activist of the opposite party visiting the Vietnamese soldiers do not allow them to see the pillar border. Even they have been told to them that they just want to see it and they promise they will not any thing. However, the problem still go on until now. Many words from mouth to mouth been saying that the way Vietnamese did is wrong but Mr. Va Kimhong said
those people are stupid they know nothing about that. He continue"we know exactly what we are doing". So I have no idea to say about it anymore. I think my Cambodian will not forgive for anyone who take over our land. As the Buddha said the one who did a bad thing will receive a bad thing. I believe that.

Finally I hope the powerful country like U.S.A, France, and England....will come to help us. Especially the United Nation must put their eyes on us. I think only The Asian Community is not enough so please help us. We are human being like you, and your people. We needed a freely life, peaceful land, and live a long life with one own family. I hopefully, you guy will help us with the generosity without expected something back. Please the good thing protect us and our land.
